Referee Training August 16th and August 23rd

We are just over a month away from the start of the AYSO soccer season. I've fielded many inquiries about refereeing. I've been in contact with our sectional referee administrator and there are a couple of nearby trainings:

August 16th - 9:15am-1pm Hollywood Park
August 23rd - 9:15am-1pm Hollywood Park

Each referee will need to have an account at www.ayso697.org to register for the course.

Step 1 is to complete this online course (https://wiki.ayso.org/wiki/Take_an_online_course) :

Regional Referee Online + In-Person Companion Course

1. Online

This is your online training. Please complete this training before your in-person event .

2. In-Person Companion Event

This exam is required to be completed face-to-face. Please book in for your Regional Referee Exam via the Training Calendar to receive credit for this course.

Step 2 is to sign up for one of our offered companion courses (https://wiki.ayso.org/wiki/Find_and_Enroll_in_an_In-Person_Course). Region 183 is offering them August 16 and 23. We recommend that students download the IFAB Laws of the Game app prior to the in-person session: https://theifab.com/logapp/
